Great video of your Washington trip. I would like to do that one too. What make is the front rack that you have on your bike?
Hi Tom. Thanks for the comment. The front rack is a Velo Orange Porteur Rack.
Nice video about your bike trip man ! keep it going !
Hi Julien. Thanks very much! There will absolutely be more so stay tuned...
Love the video of your trip from DC to my hometown of Toronto! Can you tell me about the setup of your LHT? The Soma Porteur Front rack(where I found your link) looks boss! Thanks.
Hi Mike, Thanks for watching. I use the Soma Porteur rack as a camera bag platform. The bag on top is called the ILE Rack bag found here: http://bicycleastronomy.org/2012/11/15/inside-line-equipments-ile-rack-bag/.I also bought the pick n pluck foam for the Pelican case 1450 which fits perfectly inside that Rack Bag. It makes a great camera bag with plenty of protection. Other than the Schwalbe Marathon Supremes and my Nitto North Road handlebars, the bike is stock.Levi
I saw quickly in your video you use hamac ! it seems that there is a tent over ?
is there your creation ? or someting you can buy ?
This is my blog : http://europebike.blogspot.fr/2013/06/croatians-islands.html
Hi, the video of the trip to Toronto is amazing. I am a bit interested about your bicycle. How was it to have a “regular” steering whilst on long bike tour? I imagine that you would want to change hand position a bit.
Great video anyway, very inspiring.
Thanks Peter! I had a great time. I changed my drop bars to Nitto upright bars because I find the drops to be uncomfortable. The Brake hoods hurt my hands and it wouldn't allow me to be as upright as i'd like. True, this way I have less hand positions to choose from, but my main position was more comfortable. These days I'm riding a recumbent so it's a moot point!
